When her grandson John was ready to transition from the swaddle, Nana noticed even more expensive wearable blankets seemed cheaply made and didn't wear well. She knew she could do better. She would make wearable blankets that were high-quality and parent-friendly - functional and usable, not just pretty. She’d call them “Bumbers.” People noticed. Parents raved their children slept better in them. They marveled at their creativity, functionality, and craftsmanship. Nana thought, why not share these awesome wearable blankets with everyone? And that is how Bumbershoots by Nana and the Bumber were born.
